About the unshaped service

This service, which offers identical service levels to the 4GB Unshaped ADSL accounts offered by Telkom, will offer you unshaped international bandwidth and a higher data transfer rate than the shaped service. The unshaped service will not shape the protocols that are not cached by WADSL/Telkom/SAIX. All protocols will therefore share the available bandwidth equally. Similar to the 3GB, 10GB, 20GB and 30GB shaped service local bandwidth will remain as is with no shaping implemented.
