I am a sucker for the Premier League even though I tend to laugh when I see England ranked as high as 4th in the world (now down at 9) despite not winning anything since they won the World Cup in 1966 and only achieving one semi-final in 1990. I can see Tim, our CEO from England, finding excuses to demote me now.
Anyway I am an avid Manchester United fan and I am looking forward to the new season, especially with 3 of the top 4 clubs getting new managers in. I was sad to see Sir Alex go but believe his replacement David Moyes is the right choice while having Jose Mourinho back in the premier league will bring back that “spice” that left when he departed Chelsea for the first time.
All fixtures can be viewed here but I have included the first 6 rounds of games. David Moyes does seem to have the tougher of starts of the 3 managers with Chelsea (H), Liverpool (A) and Man City (A) in the first 5 games. It should be a real test for him and Manchester United.
