Tired of the flood of information on social media? Not sure what is fake news? You can now stream news channels through DStv Now for FREE! MultiChoice made the announcement that some of its news channels will now be available for free to South Africans. This comes after the COVID-19 pandemic has everyone glued to the screen to try get updates while quarantined at home.

DStv Now is the online platform where customers can watch their favourite shows on Catch Up or watch live television. MultiChoice will provide the public with access to the platform and some of its news channels. As an added extra taste of the DStv life, you can also watch some of the South African soaps on the Catch Up portal. Some of these include; Die Ware Naarheid, Suidooster, The River, Igazi, Binnelanders, and Isibaya.

The company stressed the importance of getting reliable news on the Corona Virus outbreak and how they would like to make it easier for South Africans to get these resources. When you sign up, you will have access to a total of 13 channels: seven news channels, one religious channel, one music channel, one kid’s channel, one sports channel, a weather channel, and the DStv channel.

DStv Now Sign Up:

You can sign up by going to the DStv Now website and signing up as a new user. The service will only be available to South Africans and requires an ID number during sign up.
