Heads up! .
Heads up! .
While we continually update our map to ensure reliability, please note that on occasion the data supplied by the underlying Fibre infrastructure provider is not always 100% accurate.
At the moment we offer Fibre through multiple suppliers – Vumatel, Fibrehoods, Octotel, Frogfoot and Telkom. This is so we can offer Fibre to more areas around the country. Not all of our Fibre suppliers will be available in your area – in some areas there will only be 1, whereas in other areas all 3 may be available.
We will only partner with the best, so no one fibre supplier is better than the other. Each supplier does have different terms and conditions and features. Just remember that if Fibre is available in your area you may not get your preferred supplier, but you will still be cool as you can get Fibre access.

Please note that if you cancel your Fibre service within 6 months of receiving the free router, we will charge you for the full price of the router.

ADSL is reliant on existing copper wire infrastructure which is often unreliable and offers speeds (to the wider public) of around 4 Mbps – hardly anything to write home about. Fibre, on the other hand, uses flexible glass fibres to transmit data at incredible speeds, allowing users to achieve speeds of up to 1000 Mbps!
Heck no! Fibre is completely independent of a bundled voice line.
Unless stipulated, most ADSL/VDSL routers won't work with your new Fibre connection. All but one of our Fibre packages – the 4 Mbps Entry-level Uncapped package on Vuma – come with a free-to-use premium Fibre-enabled wireless router. Please note that if you cancel your Fibre service or fall into a suspended state (for longer than 30 days), Webafrica reserves the right to charge you the full retail price of the router or you may choose to return it to us.
We rely on our various suppliers to provide us with the areas that can get Fibre Internet. Once you have ordered Fibre on our website, one of our friendly fibre sales agents will be in contact to confirm you order.
Fibre must have been installed outside your boundary wall. Fibre then needs to run from your boundary wall to inside your home and be connected to a CPE (or similar) device. You also need a WAN-enabled wireless router – we provide one for free on selected packages. Contact us if you are unsure about any detail!
We don't do contracts – that is how we roll! You may upgrade or downgrade at any time, but please note that this action may attract a small re-grade fee.
Absolutely. Upgrading to a bigger package will be more cost-effective if you are topping up every month. If you need additional data in a given month you can top up with 50 Gigs (at R150 once off) or 25 Gigs (at R100 once off) for the following providers – Vuma, Fibrehoods, Frogfoot and Octotel. If you ordered an OpenServe (Telkom) fibre product you can top up for R9/GB. Please note these top-up gigs will carry over to the next month until they are used up.
We are South Africa's largest independent internet provider – something we are very proud of. With over 18 years of providing internet access to South Africans, we know getting Fibre through us is the best choice for you.
Once Fibre has been installed at your home or business we will send someone to come and help get you set up. We won't leave until you are happy.
